Meredith Attwell Baker, one of the two Republican Commissioners at the Federal Communications Commission, plans to step down—and right into a top lobbying job at Comcast-NBC.

This is absolutely appalling. The ruling class isn’t even trying to hide how corrupt it is anymore; that’s how thoroughly fucked America is.

Why bother hiding it? Most Americans don’t give a fuck. A nice mix of 3 second attention span and being more apathetic then  the average bear. 

Those who aren’t gather in dark corners and snicker at the rest. Sometimes via the internet (i prefer fark.com & a few select message boards to air my grievances about the world) or in person and take comfort in the fact that we may have found one of the elite. Someone who gets it.
